Government orders, in plain words
PublicFeed follows what the Jammu and Kashmir government orders and explains each order: who issued it, what it does, when it applies and who it applies to.
How it works
Every day, PublicFeed reads the latest items published by the J&K General Administration Department: orders, circulars, notifications and statutory orders. It keeps a copy of each official PDF and reads every page.
Software drafts a short explanation. Each fact in it must be backed by an exact passage from the order, and a second, independent check reviews the draft before it appears here. Every entry links to the official PDF.
What is left out
Most of what the department publishes is personnel business: appointments, postings, transfers, promotions and deployments of officials. PublicFeed leaves these out, along with notices about individual people and instructions that only concern government staff's own procedures. Statutory orders are always kept.
Private individuals are never named. Ministers and officials acting in their official role may be.
Limits
This is an early version covering one source. Nothing has yet been reviewed by a person, and software can make mistakes. The official PDF is the authority; if the two disagree, the PDF is right.
A missing order is not evidence that nothing happened. PublicFeed only sees what the department publishes on its website.
